Netgear Orbi RBS20
The Netgear Orbi RBS20 is a wireless router powered by a quad-core ARM Cortex-A7 CPU, featuring both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands that comply with the 802.11ac Wi-Fi standard (often referred to as Wi-Fi 5). It includes two gigabit Ethernet ports (both configured as LAN) and, like other models in Netgear's Orbi lineup, boasts an extra 5GHz radio dedicated to wireless backhaul. The RBS20 is typically sold as part of a bundle that includes one RBR20 router.

OEM easy installation
1. Navigate to http://192.168.1.250/
2. Login with “admin” and “password”
3. Click on “Firmware-Update”
4. Upload the OpenWRT factory image and let it install
5. The router should restart with OpenWRT flashed
NMRPflash Method
- Download nmrpflash
- Put the OpenWRT factory image file in the same folder of the nmrpflash executable
- Connect your PC to the router using the port near the power button
- Start nmrpflash. Replace XXX with your network interface (can be identified by running
nmrpflash -L) and FILE with the file you downloaded
$ nmrpflash -i XXX -f FILE
- Power on the router and wait for the flash to complete
After about a minute the router should boot directly to OpenWRT. If nothing happens try to reboot the router.

Numbers 0-3 are Ports 1-4 as labeled on the unit, number 4 is the Internet (WAN) on the unit, 5 is the internal connection to the router itself. Don't be fooled: Port 1 on the unit is number 3 when configuring VLANs. vlan0 = eth0.0, vlan1 = eth0.1 and so on.
